Captain's clause
Because someone has to steer.
The Captain reserves the right to ignore the itinerary, and any enthusiastic suggestions that may compromise the safety of the vessel or the people onboard. In short: if it's a choice between the brunch plans and not capsizing, we're going with not capsizing.
Weather note
The proposed route is a strong suggestion at best. Wind, waves, and whim may require changes before or during the charter — final say goes to the Captain, who has both the license and the weather app.
